Position Summary: As the Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the retention of long-term quality patients for the clinic through the execution of service delivery systems so the patient’s needs and expectations are exceeded. You will be assisting the medical provider in delivering care and completing administrative duties in our fast-paced clinic. As a Medical Assistant, it will be required that you have a high level of interaction with others as well as participate in educating the patients.

Performance Objectives:
- Complete patient vitals, obtaining and documenting patient history and updating patient information in the chart/ EMR
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records according to HIPPA guidelines
- Restock exam rooms, perform cleaning routine and manage supplies to keep inventory current
- Ability to read and interpret medical orders/protocols and diagnostic test results with supervisor
- Take quick action with the physician and/or physician assistant in handling and resolving complex patient matters
- Ensure seamless, efficient patient flow on medical side by working with the team
- Assist with procedures (blood draws, injections, sterilizing instruments, etc.)
- Reliably keep a clear line of communication with provider to deliver feedback and progress of patient treatment plan
- Educate the patient on the services provided in the clinic
- Consistently offer the highest level of personalized customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude
Experience & Certification:
- Must Have Passed an Accredited Training Course in Phlebotomy or/and
- Be a Certified Medical Assistant or/and
- Be a Certified Phlebotomist
