Job Description
We are a locally owned residential home builder specializing in a unique system that allows our customers great flexibility in the new home construction process. Due to our tremendous growth, we are seeking assistance in the purchasing department. Position is in office with some work from home. Excellent benefits and bonuses. We are only considering candidates with a history of experience in residential construction purchasing. You must understand how a home is assembled and the quantity associated with it. You must also be familiar with Excel and other estimating programs. Please provide a resume and an explanation of why you would be the perfect candidate. All inquiries will be kept confidential.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services
- Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of goods and service
- Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation
The ideal candidate will have great communication and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
