Job Description
Primary Role in the Organization:
Support production by planning for parts to be designed for manufacturability. Obtain vendors that will provide good product in order to keep production from making a bad part.
Reports To:
Manager, Maintenance
Supervises:
None
Responsibilities:
1) Work to accomplish goals, objectives and stratigic plans that are directed by the Maintenance Manager.
2) Monitor and report on the progress of each production departments equipment repair budgets. (Monthly)
3) Monitor and report on the progress of overtime, expenses and shop supply budgets in the maintenance department.
4) Team coordination for mass production quality concerns and improvement activities through PDCA.
5) Assist production in continued implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
6) Convert maintenance reference library to electronic files.
7) Aquire complete failure, repair cost and equipment history for all production and facilities equipment.
8) Negotiate and implement effective cost control initiatives for maintenance parts and manufacturing supply purchasing.
9) Control and implement streamlining activities to the Fastenal vending program.
10) Ensure that we maintain a 90% P.M. and Work Order Completion rate. (Evaluate Methos)
11) Identify the top equipment downtime and report on weekly.
12) Create SWI for all facility equipment such as chillers, cooling towers and air compressors.
13) Coordinate and schedule necessary maintenance training.
14) Coordinate/communicate between departments on kaizen and quality issues.
15) Assign and monitor work orders and preventative maintenance tasks to achieve desired objective.
16) Promote NISS and 6-S programs for improved participation.
17) Support all programs and/or certifications obtained by Neaton (ie; J-Sox, TS16949, and ISO14001)
18) Complete and follow-up on maintenance department orientation checklists.
19) Ensure department communication boards are kept up to date and with accurate data.

1) Previous experience using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database
2) Manufacturing Background
3) Strong Analytical Skills
B. Education
1) High School Diploma or QED
2) Microsoft Office experience.
3) Project control experience

Position is located in Rome Georgia. Remote work opportunities are not available for this position.
