Job Description
Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the quality of care for an assigned caseload of patients.
Responsibilities:
•The RN is responsible for delegating duties appropriately and directing staff in the delivery of care.
•Assuming responsibility for the appropriate utilization of resources.
•Collaborating with medical staff and others in the provision of care.
•Demonstrating positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution.
•The RN must be sensitive to the needs of patients, families, and fellow co-workers, and support the mission of Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Requirements:
•Graduate from an approved school of Nursing.
•Current RN licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
•CPR certification required for all our Registered Nurses prior to working on the unit and must maintain every 2 years.
•ACLS required within one year for specific departments (ICU, ER, CDU, SDSU, PACU, L&D, GI Lab, Cath Lab, Pediatrics).
•Maintain additional certifications based on department specific standards.
•Must pass the Medication exam upon employment
