Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate, motivated and committed fast-learning individual to join our team! Experience as a receptionist and/or in the veterinary field is strongly preferred. As both a veterinary practice and boarding facility our goal is to serve our clients through the care we provide for their pets.
PVAHC is a full service companion animal hospital primarily treating dogs and cats. Our veterinarians and staff members have received their FearFree Certification. We have 3 full time veterinarians. In house equipment includes a full compliment of IDEXX lab analyzers, digital radiography (full body and dental), high speed dental equipment, and ultrasound.
The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service and professionalism while multi-tasking. Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Handle communication via phone(s), email, text, and face-to-face contact
- Collect payments (cash, all major credit cards, check, CareCredit, ScratchPay)
- Ability to schedule and manage appointments
- Call in and fill prescriptions
- Maintain a clean workspace and upkeep of daily cleaning duties
Must be comfortable handling dogs and cats.
Experience with Cornerstone Software is a plus.
Compensation commensurate with experience and includes: PTO, CE allowance, health insurance w/options for dental, retirement plan, company scrubs.
