We have an opening for a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant interested in an exciting opportunity in the growing field of hormone replacement therapy for men in Atlanta, GA.
We are seeking a passionate professional with an entrepreneurial spirit, who is dedicated to providing male patients with top notch care, developing patient relationships, and improving awareness about the benefits of hormone replacement therapy (HRT), specifically testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Due to the sensitivity of some of our service offerings, a male applicant is highly preferred, but not necessarily required.

Responsibilities include:
- Answer phones; respond to direct requests for information and/or forward messages to appropriate staff.
- Greet patients, collect intake forms, schedule appointments and provide instructions, as required.
- Measure and record vital signs, perform routine screening tests.
- Record patient information and medication reconciliation in EMR as required.
- Assist team in completion of health assessments, care plans and EMR documentation.
- Call-in prescriptions to the pharmacy for the physician / mid level provider.
- Provide patient education with regards to office policies, medications, home treatments, and special diets.
- Manage the cleanliness and hygiene of the exam rooms, prepare patients for exams.
- Provide patient education with regards to office policies, medications, home treatments and special diets.
- Phlebotomy and IV insertion for IV drip therapy.
- Prepare and help administer medications with Physician Assistant.
- Maintain supplies, equipment, stocking and sterilize instruments.
- Dispose biohazard waste according to OSHA standards.
- Other duties as directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School education, but college preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant required
- 2+ years Phlebotomy experience, certified preferred
- 2+ years IV Insertion experience
- 2+ years In Office dispensing experience
- Current CPR certification, preferred
- Bilingual (highly preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience with dietary/nutrition plans
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Willingness and capacity to learn new Electronic Medical Record software
- Willing to undergo a background check
Desired but not Required:
- Background or experience with personal training/fitness is definitely desired
- Fully completed Linked-in profile
