THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to join our rapidly growing payment processing division. As the first hire in this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in onboarding and setting up new clients' payment processing systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead the implementation process, ensure compliance, and provide outstanding support to our valued clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the end-to-end implementation process for new clients, ensuring smooth onboarding and setup of their payment processing systems.
- Collaborate with the sales team to gather client requirements, assess needs, and develop implementation plans tailored to each client's specifications.
- Review and validate documentation and contracts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Liaise with banking partners to establish merchant accounts and facilitate the integration of payment processing systems.
- Provide guidance and support to clients, addressing questions, concerns, and technical issues related to payment processing.
- Process and organize onboarding documents, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients during the implementation process, maintaining clear and effective communication channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as technical support and operations, to resolve implementation-related issues and ensure a seamless transition for clients.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in payment processing, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Actively contribute to the development and growth of the implementation team, providing training and mentoring to new team members as the division expands.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in payment processing or similar role, preferably with a larger bank or processor.
- Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, payment gateways, tools, and industry standards.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end implementation processes for new clients.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and regulations in the payment processing industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a solution-oriented mindset to address client needs and concerns.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Prior experience working with banking partners and merchant accounts is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
