Job Description
Medical Assistant
We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our family. Your job will be to provide a welcoming and evaluating care to our patients.
We offer:
$20.00 to $26.00 per hr.
Monday to Friday – Available 8 am to 6 pm

A Day in the Life of a Medical Assistant / Medical Support Associate with Salud:
Your genuine spirit of caring welcomes patients as the first step in treatment prior to seeing the Doctor, NP, or PA. A Salud Medical Assistant will determine the nature of the patient’s visit and obtain vitals. Your thorough and concise chart documentation will provide clear necessary communication. You will maintain a clean and organized environment for both patients and staff.

Qualifications
What you need to be qualified for this job:
The ability to work will people from all walks of life, and to meet them in their place of need
Current Medical Assistant Certificate
Medical Assistants not certified/registered upon hire are required to complete the Medical Assistant certification/registration testing within 3 months of hire. If an employee does not pass, they will be given an additional 3 months to retake the test.
All Medical Assistants must be certified within 6 months of hire and certification must be maintained throughout employment.
Medical Assistants without any formal Medical Assistant training are required to have a current Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant.
Please Note: This position REQUIRES a Medical Assistant (MA) Certification. A CNA certification is NOT equivalent to the Medical Assistant certification and cannot be accepted for this position.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program, a minimum of 6 months in length, preferred.
Experience:
Previous healthcare experience as a Medical Assitant is preferred but not required
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
