Job Description
The role of a Vice President (“VP”) on the Enterprise Risk Management team, supports the planning, implementation and execution of Tradeweb’s risk assessments and underlying risk framework program elements (e.g., risk identification and assessment, risk measurement, control testing, risk event management, issue management, scenario analysis, and risk reporting etc.). The role will operate within the 1st and 2nd Line of Defence (“3 LOD”) model. Tradeweb’s Risk Management team is looking for a collaborative self-starter to proactively imbed themselves into the business workflow to provide guidance, oversight and actionable risk intelligence for the business to be able to achieve their objectives.
We look to hire people who are comfortable in working with minimal supervision as part of a small team, that has consistently delivered ground-breaking and innovative solutions in one of the most exciting and fast-moving areas of the of the financial markets. We need people who can effectively communicate complex issues to non-technical team members, provide near-real time risk advisory services to our stakeholders and deliver high impact, high quality deliverables.
Job Responsibilities:
Create and maintain Risk Registers (Risk and Control Matrixes), including control testing and residual risk analysis
Develop, sustain, and evolve product and service risk assessments through close collaboration with cross-functional partners to develop new and enhanced processes, and provide feedback on controls to mitigate identified and future risks
Build relationships with Risk, Legal and Compliance partners, subject matter experts, internal control partners and/or first line risk management professionals to support new initiatives and risk identification
Employ effective management of stakeholder relationships, a proactive approach in communicating issues, and strength in sustaining independent views
Support the identification and operationalization of Key Risk Indicators (“KRIs”)
Provide a gold standard advisory and service-oriented approach to risk management
Ensure alignment with risk frameworks/methodologies and utilize the existing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (“GRC”) system to its fullest capabilities
Provide strong project management skills to help key governance and program elements supporting Issue Management, Risk Events and Risk Tolerance monitoring
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree preferably in Finance or Information Technology
4+ years of relevant experience working in risk management
Hold a Risk, IT Security, Technology or Project Management certification - a plus
Proficiency in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems
Experience in ISO 27002 Domains, NIST Cyber Security Framework, COSO Risk Framework

Desired Skills:
Experience in performing risk assessments throughout the lifecycle of risk management, including developing reporting and presenting to management
Experience in control testing including work paper documentation
Experience creating RACMs and calculating residual risk
Strong knowledge of information security, technology and associated risks, including an understanding of existing and upcoming regulations and the potential impact on the company and its clients
Broad risk management exposure in financial services, FINTEC or related industries
Tested Project Management skills, including strength in managing and organizing multiple projects with variable timeliness
Knowledge and experience using BI tools - a plus
Experience in understanding and documenting complex business, data and technology workflows
Experience in documenting policies and procedures

The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $90,000 to $200,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
