Job Description
Phantom Fireworks, the industry leader for the import, wholesale and retail of consumer fireworks, is seeking a full time Data Entry Representative for its Chain Store division. Candidates must be able to multitask, communicate effectively, and have knowledge of and experience with Excel, Google Sheets, data entry, and information research. Candidates must also have strong multi-line telephone skills, be able to meet deadlines, and have strong organizational skills. The candidate must be flexible, able and willing to work overtime, extended hours and weekends, during our Fireworks Season.
Job Responsibilities:
Data Entry: Legal: Complete jurisdiction research by locating and contacting local governing offices and gathering information regarding the legal stance on the sale of items. Calling governing offices to retrieve information regarding state sales of legal items at a designated location. Transferring information on to spreadsheets for each state.
Data Entry: Sales: Entering store orders into S2K from spreadsheets created by account managers; tracking shipments through trucking company websites; creating invoices for each account that shipped orders; creating billing adjustments as needed; tracking shipment costs; researching if orders need fire extinguishers and/or signs sent with the products.
Cold Calls and Emails: Calling/emailing counties, cities, and towns to gather information about jurisdictions and ordinances; calling/emailing stores about orders and returns; retaining an accurate record of calls made for Account Managers.
Invoices: Entering information, printing, filing and faxing/emailing/mailing invoices to retail chains’ corporate locations if needed.
Returns: Gathering return letters, mailing to the stores, entering the amount of returns, ordering shipment pickup for returns, and creating a return invoice. Confirming information about returns with the stores and ensuring each store receives documents needed to complete their return shipment.
