Job Description
Today is awesome! You showed up for work, read some 5-star reviews, and made note of the priorities to start your day. You’ve got the education to understand what’s to be done; now it’s time to roll up your sleeves and put it into action. The day goes fast, production is occurring, and you already looking forward to tomorrow.
Work with the team: You stay in contact with your manager and your team to make sure the work orders are completed efficiently – everyone pitches in because it’s ultimately about serving the customer. There may be errands, and specific job duties because it’s also about serving the team.
Develop your expertise: You’re answering phones, replying to emails, writing up estimates, customer interaction, knowing that you’re adding a positive experience to our customers lives through the services we offer. Over time, you gain a growing expertise in job scheduling, data entry (you are PC and computer literate: word, excel, power point), filing, and scheduling appointments, ultimately learning all the services we offer.
Become a trusted professional: You keep your desk neat, clean, and organized so everything’s handy and ready for use. You are very detail oriented. You’ll learn to use our software, handle money, understand job-scopes, and estimating too, because you’ll know that this keeps everyone informed – from the customer to the Service Experts to the team here at the office. You have the ability to pass a drug and background check, and have excellent phone skills.
Pathways to advancement: You will start as a Customer Service Rep with the goal of becoming an office manager (completely optional). Once an office manager, you will be trained to manage your team. Your next goal might be to become a company vice president and manage other teams. Each pathway to advancement opens doors for more pay. Our CSRs start at $15/hr for training the first 5 days. After that, it goes up to $17/hr. Add in spiffs, bonuses, and incentives and that hourly pay can be $20-$30 an hour!
Description of Duties: Inbound & Outbound Call Sales and Scheduling Service Appointments
- Talking to customers and prospects on the phone.
- Replying to emails, writing up estimates
- Monitoring and transferring office calls and emails.
- You will be on the phone calling open estimates, customers due for service, aging customers, postcard lists, etc.
Skills and Requirements:
- Typing speed at least 40 words per minute.
- Must be able to work and connect with people effectively to ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Must reside in the Twin Cities Metro area OR be able to schedule efficiently even around the weather here.
- Learn and utilize company specific software and Microsoft Office; fluent with Word, Excel, etc.
You love to learn: You have a high school diploma or equivalent. You have real experience in outbound calling. Most importantly, you have a drive to learn more because you know that it serves everyone – from the customer to the team to yourself. You eagerly complete your training requirements and ask, “What’s next?” You’ll learn our culture, office routines, customer interaction, how to up-sell, and get an overview of our entire system and processes.
You’re a phone-savvy people person: You love the challenge you’re posed with and the adventure of doing a job well done. At the same time, you’re comfortable talking to a homeowner and professionally educating them in what their options are. Service recommendations, technical information, cleaning agents? No problem.
You’re ready to work: 8am to 5pm with breaks and flexibility. This is a W-2 position. You have a ready-to-work attitude, and no problem facing the needs of the day, such as calling on past-dues, announcing accolades to Service Experts, and turning another prospect into a happy customer.
You’re a professional: Learning every aspect of the job. You look and speak like a professional. You keep your work area clean and orderly. You are focused and clear-headed. You don’t let mistakes slide by. You are level-headed and optimistic. You handle accounts very carefully.
