G3 Quality, Inc. is a California-based Engineering Quality Control / Quality Assurance consulting firm. We focus on providing QA/QC program development, flexible pavement engineering, technical specification development, materials laboratory testing and research, design-build quality program management, and HMA mix designs (Hveem, Marshall, and Superpave) and materials consulting on California’s infrastructure construction projects. Our firm was established in 2013 and we currently have over 125 professionals with headquarters in Cerritos and additional offices and laboratories in Bakersfield, Redlands, and Sacramento.
Position Summary
G3 Quality, Inc. is looking for Data Entry Processor to join our team in our Sacramento office. The Data Entry Processor is a crucial position reporting to the Information Systems Manager. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who has the passion to achieve operational objectives by contributing to client-specific project deliverables. Individuals with an eye for detail and strong Excel skills will find success as they work within a team of like-minded individuals.
The processor will compile field and laboratory data and prepare daily client reports for our project management team. Duties include but are not limited to, spreadsheet maintenance, cell formatting, report generation, and utilization of advanced Excel features.
Preferred Attributes
For the Data Entry Processor to be successful in this position, the preferred candidate should have the following qualities and attributes:
Extensive experience with Excel including formulation and formatting of Excel templates.
Prodigious attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to keep a large number of projects/tasks going concurrently.
Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to change in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to quickly grasp what needs to be done and to take fast action.
Ability to balance taking initiative as a self-starter with group collaboration.
Common sense problem-solving with the strength of character to make recommendations.
A team player with a good sense of humor.
Experience in an analyst (analytical) position utilizing Microsoft Excel performing advanced functions such as VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, charts, and graphing.
Effective and clear communicator written and verbal.
Good communication skills for answering multi-line phone systems.
Educational Experience
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
College Preferred
Requirements
1-3 Years’ experience in a similar role managing various projects, data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, word processing, and report generation.
Extensive previous use of Excel is required.
Pay Scale
$20.00 - $23.00 an hour
