Overview:
Goldbelt Incorporated is an urban, Alaska Native, for-profit corporation with offices in Juneau, Alaska, and Herndon, Virginia. Its primary purpose is to manage assets and conduct business for the benefit of over 4,000 Alaska Native shareholders.
Summary:
Goldbelt, Incorporated (GBI) is looking for a driven and dedicated Training Manager who will develop and deliver various training and educational programs for GBI and its subsidiaries. The Training Manager will be responsible for strategically implementing and improving training programs throughout the entire organization, including orientation, annual trainings, and continuous improvement training.
Qualifications:
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
Familiarity with the use of learning management systems to assign and track training for large target audiences of people
Effectively use analytics to gain insights to project efficiency and status
Highly responsive to customer and project needs, as well as managing customer expectations
Effective communicator with experience in public speaking and presentation development
Excellent relationship management skills
Technologically savvy, able to set up training related equipment like video conferencing products
Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office software
Ability to prioritize and manage projects effectively.
Ability to work on multiple work teams
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in either Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
Minimum four (4) or more years of experience developing and implementing training and learning strategies and programs
Experienced in change management, process design & improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
Have strong exposure to Learning Management Systems as an architect and as a power user
LinkedIn Learning experience
Articulate 360 experience
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
Build e-learning modules, testing, reporting, and administration of our Learning Management System (LMS) for new and existing employees
Deliver quality training products and/or services; enforcing adherence to performance standards; achieving the balance between the need to meet both productivity goals and quality standards
Develop training curricula and/or business solutions to address business gaps
Coordinate administrative tasks of the LMS and all its various business units
Will manage and deliver GBI’s New Hire Orientation, along with annual trainings to staff
Create and communicate training metrics with proposed improvement recommendations
Develop and present training proposals
Execute projects from start to completion including the resolution of intensified project issues and maintenance of document repositories
Ensure end-to-end testing and quality of all new functionalities, coordinating with the stakeholders to ensure no disruption to the users
Understand needs of various business units; for LMS-related needs, be able to recommend solutions for these clients (i.e., social learning, e-learning, reporting, verification/certification).
