Here are some of the duties that may be a part of your position as a Receptionist and positively impact the lives of those who call us home!
- Customer Service
- Relationship building
- First impressions
- Answers all incoming telephone calls and directs calls to appropriate staff
- Takes telephone messages for those staff members unable to answer incoming calls.
- Greets all visitors and assists them as needed.
- Maintains records of resident sign in-sign out.
- Monitors resident activity and alerts staff when assistance is necessary to assure resident safety.
- Perform clerical work including but not limited to typing, copying, filing, payroll, mailing, and other light office work as assigned by the Executive Director.
- Assures that lobby area, reception area and entry are kept clean, neat and orderly.
- Notifies appropriate staff of unsafe situations within the building or grounds.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by any member of management.
