Join our growing UUV business, and you’ll have the opportunity to create and develop advanced technology capabilities to meet emerging defense and commercial needs for undersea sensing and exploration.
You will be part of a dynamic team designing and swimming next generation UUVs for both commercial and defense applications as a lead systems engineer. You will be responsible for the design, integration, manufacturing, and system testing of platform and subsystems for UUVs that includes various payloads and sensors.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Systems Engineering
- Eligible to obtain a security clearance
- Coursework, projects, or internship focusing on multiple disciplinary subjects that are maritime related
A familiarly with the systems lifecycle (v-curve) including conceptual development, physical design, support to procurement, assembly, engineering test, debug, integration, and support of product qualification.
The candidate should possess an understanding of the engineering principles and concepts that spread across all disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software) and the ability to apply those principles to unique systems for the underwater domain.
Support systems requirements management from CONOPS through production selloff using standard tools (DOORS, Magic-draw)
The ability to create and present analysis results to internal team members
Ability to communicate and resolve challenging technical problems across a multi-disciplinary engineering
Travel out to sea and remote locations is required (10-25%)
Maintain a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies and rules that includes open water testing
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $59950 - $101970
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
