Job Title: Food Server Reports to: Restaurant Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Food Server is accountable for serving guests in the Outlet according to the service specifications of the Outlet in order to provide the guests with an outstanding dining experience.

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Interact with all guests and employees to positively affect the guest/employee experience. Demonstrate resiliency dealing with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
Responsible for complete and accurate set-up and breakdown of the dining room in a timely manner.
Assure the efficient smooth serving of guests in a timely manner following the appropriate sequence of service for the designated outlet.
Complete all side duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
May be responsible for bussing and resetting tables.
Ensures the proper service of alcohol by following the current laws of the state and the policies of the company.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needs.
Performs other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand, bend and move for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift, balance and carry a tray (up to 30 lbs.).
Must be able to keep tables clean by pre-bussing and bussing
Mental Demands:
Must be able to greet guests with a smile and pleasant disposition in a timely manner.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of employees.
Must be able to perform assigned job duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
Work Environment:
Must be able to work in areas exposed to all temperatures, dust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals. Use of elevators, stairs, and escalator.
Must be able to work in smoking environment.
Must be able to work in a gaming environment with exposure to bright/flashing lights, crowds and above average noise levels.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience/Education:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Knowledge:
Must be able to read, write, understand and follow instructions.
Other:
Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.
Must complete all required company training.
