The Entry Level Accounts Receivable Specialist a nswers all incoming calls from clients and patients, responding appropriately, while maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor. The Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist also ensures that appropriate charges, diagnosis, and level of service are identified for services rendered and documented according to Corporate and Carrier compliance guidelines. The AirMedCare Network, AMCN , a division of Global Medical Response which provides financial solutions to families facing medical transport by air. Responsibilities:
The Entry Level Accounts Receivable Specialist provides professional customer service with patients, their agents, insurance companies and any other individual who may contact the business office.
Interact with other staff members to resolve problems and must ensure that all communication is positive and productive.
The Entry Level Accounts Receivable Specialist will maintain confidentiality whether in reference to confidential financial information or as it relates to medical information for specific patients .
The Entry Level Accounts Receivable Specialist schedules priorities to meet deadlines as determined by management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Bilingual is a plus.
Able to type 30 wpm.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma.
Emergency medical transport industry knowledge, preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of Medical terminology.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial claims processing preferred.
One (1) year of healthcare customer service experience preferred.
Experience in public safety or medical services
Experience with urgent and emergency services preferred.
Experience in a call center environment customer service preferred .
