Job Description
We are currently seeking an Associate Brand Manager to join the BlueTriton Brands Marketing organization based in Stamford, CT. This position will be responsible for supporting day-to-day business management and marketing execution, managing cross-functional and inter-agency teams, and contributing to the shaping of long-term positioning and strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to build brands that matter, while owning projects that will contribute to personal development and business performance.
Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Support the development and execution of annual marketing plans which address all aspects of the marketing mix including packaging, renovation, pricing, promotion, market research, advertising, media and activation. Inherent in this responsibility is working closely with all internal and external functions to translate long-term strategy into highly effective annual marketing and sales strategies and tactics.
- Lead the execution of the tactical plans supporting the brand’s objectives, for example social and digital communication, public relations and events, shopper programs, and internal engagement.
- Assist in driving cross-functional team (incl. Content Lab, Packaging Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance) to develop and execute key business initiatives, ranging from new items, renovations and driving demand initiatives; includes high level of collaboration, consolidating information, and presenting to Senior Leadership.
- Participate in Commercial Planning process, supporting key brand initiative implementation within retail channels.
- Support monthly brand reviews, analyzing and diagnosing market share/shipment performance to be presented to appropriate leadership and stakeholders. This includes identifying key root causes, trend analysis and developing actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
Key qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Marketing, preferably for Consumer Packaged Goods / Beverage industries.
- Team spirit & can-do attitude: strong interpersonal skills, willingness to roll up your sleeves and take on any projects.
- Effective communicator: concise written and verbal communication skills, and ability to effectively interface at all levels.
- Solid marketing fundamentals: Strong strategic, analytical skills. Familiarity with syndicated data sources preferred.
- Innovative thinker: Ability to take initiative, develop and seek out creative and innovative ideas.
