MARKETING SUPPORT SPECIALIST
This position is part of the Marketing Team.
This position reports to the Marketing Lead.
This position is full-time.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Marketing Support Specialist assists the Marketing Lead and the Marketing Content Lead to complete a variety of marketing and administrative tasks. This position reports to the Marketing Lead and will have both daily routine tasks as well as special projects to work on in a growing department. This position will include tasks around a variety of marketing mediums and topics as well as filling the vital role of communication and collaboration between sales and marketing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Qualify and assign all incoming leads to the sales team.
- Work with the sales team to select products for marketing campaigns and updates.
- Research and prepare product information (SKUs, design codes, samples, vendor images, descriptions) for marketing campaigns.
- Update website content including copy, images and product information.
- Enter marketing orders into the company order system.
- Create and manage marketing lists in the CRM.
- Sync data between the company order system and the CRM.
- CRM cleanup and general housekeeping.
- Communicate with the sales team about various marketing projects and initiatives.
- Attend sales meetings and report relevant information to the marketing team.
- Help the sales team with marketing materials for city tours, conventions, events and special campaigns.
- Schedule and update meetings and record notes.
- Basic photography for use in internal and external communications.
- Marketing project management (adding to-dos, assigning tasks, etc)
- Fulfilling various sales requests for marketing (pulling images, branding packages, flyers, samples)
- Assist in scheduling marketing emails and social media posts and maintaining the marketing content calendar.
- Organizing product and promotional photoshoots.
- Assisting the Marketing Lead and Marketing Content Creator in special or new projects.
- Other general administrative responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, digital marketing or related field preferred.
- Relevant work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Clear fluency with Microsoft Office Suites.
- Experience with CRM, website maintenance, and various forms of digital marketing.
- Must be able to develop and maintain positive, healthy relationships with internal team members and cross-departmental colleagues.
