Job Description
Position Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for managing events at Covenant Health’s three acute facilities in Nashua, Lewiston and Bangor, providing administrative support to the Covenant Health Foundation President, and gift processing for St. Joseph Healthcare in Bangor. This is a high-pressure role, with the need to demonstrate initiative and set priorities to assure timely completion and balance in managing competing tasks, projects and deadlines at once. Works independently with little guidance. The position is a full-time position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

You will be a positive, kind and professional role model in the organization and possess strong decision-making skills, be forward-thinking, collaborative, and have a reputation for problem-solving and troubleshooting in an evolving business environment. Must have ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information and to use considerable tact and diplomacy in interactions with staff, internal leadership, board members, major donors, prospective donors, sponsors, volunteers and external partners.
Education: BA/BS and 2–3 years’ experience in a development office preferred.
Experience: Three to five years of related experience, with an established record of database management and development operations experience. This individual must have the ability to work individually on projects as well as be a team player. This individual must also be organized and meticulous; and pay attention to detail. Strong computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and development database programs (Raiser’s Edge software experience highly desirable).
