Job Description
Pulaski Academy seeks an Admissions Coordinator as a full-time, nonexempt, 12-month employee. The Admissions Coordinator works collaboratively within a four-member team and reports to the Head of Enrollment and Financial Aid.
Located in Little Rock, AR, Pulaski Academy (PA), is a coeducational, college preparatory, independent day school of 1380 students in grades 2.5 - 12th. Accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), PA values academic and co-curricular excellence, as well as building meaningful relationships with students and their families.
While additional duties may be assigned, the Admissions Coordinator serves as a key member of the Enrollment, Admissions, and Financial Aid team, assisting with the daily needs of the admission office to ensure the continued achievement of the budgeted enrollment goals and building a sustainable enrollment program. Primary duties include:
- FINANCIAL AIDAssist the Head of Enrollment and Financial Aid with financial aid application management, processing applications, and using analytics to provide data and generate reports.
Serve as a customer service representative, answering financial aid questions and following up with applicants.
Generate content related to financial aid education and marketing.
- LEAD GENERATION AND NURTURINGAssist with lead generation and lead nurturing through content generation, copywriting, and following up with leads through the Hubspot Inbound Marketing and CRM tool.
Create social media marketing campaigns, ads, blog posts, workflows, white papers, and email marketing plans.
Work closely with the Assistant Head of Enrollment in management of Hubspot Inbound Marketing and CRM software - creating reports, designing communication workflows, email and social media marketing, and managing CRM data.
Follow up with leads via phone and email.
- APPLICATION MANAGEMENTWork with the Admissions Assistant for application management through Veracross SIS.
Follow up with incomplete applications, manage student interviews, and shadow days communication plan.
Manage application data and create enrollment reports.
- CUSTOMER EXPERIENCEServe as a Customer Experience Team Member working closely with the Assistant Head of Enrollment on implementing PA’s Red Carpet Customer Experience (CXP) Strategy.
Assist with pre-tour, tour, and post-tour communication and the CXP strategy.
Give campus tours to prospective families.
- OUTREACH AND ONBOARDINGManage the PA “Dream Team Ambassador” Program through the Hubspot and Peerpal software programs. Work closely with faculty, staff, and parents who are members of the Dream Team.
Coordinate and manage volunteers.
Lead and manage the New Family Welcome and Onboarding program and welcome and assist new families in making the transition to Pulaski Academy.
Help admissions plan, implement, and conduct virtual and on-campus recruiting events.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher. Ideal candidates will have admissions, enrollment, and marketing experience, either at a college or independent school, a passion for fulfilling the mission of educational institutions, a deep understanding of best practices, and substantial experience working with admissions, enrollment, evaluation, retention of students and families, and inbound marketing.
A growth mindset, proactive work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and ability to learn new technology would be valuable assets to the Admissions and Enrollment team. Successful candidates will have a strong track record in the following competencies:
- Customer Service Experience: Excellence in customer service and deep understanding of the customer experience and how to deliver on it. Consistent professional phone etiquette, greeting prospective families on campus, and contributing to building on PA’s Red Carpet Customer Experience (CXP) Plan. Warm and welcoming personality and demeanor.
- People Skills: Possess exceptional people skills, including both phone and email etiquette, when engaging with internal and external constituents. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage a team of volunteers through our “Dream Team” Faculty, Parents, and Ambassadors Group.
- Action-Oriented and Proactive: Plan, communicate and execute key recruitment events using a marketing and communication lens coupled with a positive attitude. Willing to take ownership, solve problems, and generate new ideas. Consistent follow-up with leads moving them along the school search journey from inquiry to enrolled students.
- CRM and Database Software Experience: Experience with CRM and application/SIS systems (preferably Hubspot and Veracross). Quick learner; willing to jump in and spend time learning the technology.
- Growth Mindset: Not afraid to fail, ask questions, find solutions, contribute to the enrollment management team,
- Organized Multi-Tasker: The ability to stay organized and multitask several different projects at once, while maintaining daily office responsibilities.
- Special Events Coordinator Experience: Strong skills in the planning and implementation of on-campus and virtual events. Ability to lead and manage a group of parent and alumni volunteers.
- Financial Aid Management: Experience managing school financial aid programs.
- Copywriter: Skills and experience writing copy for social media, online ads, blog posts, and white paper content. Ability to produce quick yet relevant content for lead generation tools.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Workspace, Word, and Excel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
