OVERVIEW:
The Marketing Coordinator is an ideal role for candidates with strong organizational and communication skills to support the CLUB4 Fitness Marketing department and its department head. Exceptionally qualified individuals will be capable of working closely with vendors and agency partners, performing day-to-day administrative duties, scheduling, and coordinating marketing projects among a myriad of other unique projects and duties, as needed. But, mostly, the right individual for this role will need to wear multiple hats and be able to adjust to situations 'on the fly', be a chameleon, and have the "Energizer Bunny's' razor-sharp wit and energy!!
This role is responsible for supporting brand and local marketing efforts. S/he will be responsible, under the direction of the Marketing Director, for the brand’s social media strategy and execution while forming relationships with the communities, business vendors, and employees/members that comprise our Clu4Fitness connections throughout the organization and is the perfect role for an individual who enjoys making relationships, connecting, and empowering others. is an ambitious go-getter, and has strong marketing experience. It is important that this person is gritty, innovative, reliable, influential and possess a high EQ (understands how to read and respond to social cues).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or ability required:
Document organization to include filing and maintaining both documents and photos for efficient record keeping
Prioritize workload and projects to meet both internal and external deadlines
Assist with new CLUB pre-openings, as needed
- Maintain, manage, and audit all CLUB4 social media platforms and accounts
- Validate on-going assumptions and understand brand perception
- Educates CLUB4 Team Members in the field on best practices and participates in providing on going education to the field
- Maintain communication with management personnel at all CLUB locations – includes both Operations and Fitness representatives as well as Aquatics and Tennis, as required
- Help to coordinate and liaise between local CLUB4 Fitness teams, Marketing, and Senior Management at/during location activities (e.g. local events, local networking mixtures, and competitor local activations for market insights, as applicable)
- Help seed and develop relationships with key market influencers to help gain brand awareness, increase local membership, increase consumer engagement, and drive sales
- Maintain current list of partners and brands along with potential partnership opportunities
- Assist in the building and optimization of local partnerships and community engagement plans to drive awareness and membership sales
- Recommend experiences to engage with customers by using core brand attributes and knowledge of local market and customer
- Develop programs and initiatives that grow the CLUB4 Brand and market awareness
- Maintain quarterly calendar including, but not limited to: events, activations, collaborations, and promotions
- Maintain consistent communication with field operations; facilitates idea-generation, buy in and implementation planning of all marketing efforts and liaises between all parties in order to engage in development efforts and support organic creativity within the market brand
- Support unique as well as on-going CLUB or Region-based marketing initiatives
- Partner with store managers to educate the field on visual standards and optimize visual execution
- Write copy and collaborate with design team to create innovative email marketing campaigns as well as other various marketing channels
- Support the assessment of organizational needs and assists with the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of the company’s club management team members and emerging leaders
Assists in development of training materials including video, PowerPoint presentations, facilitator guides and participant guides
Continually analyzes training needs to develop new training or modify, improve, and maintain existing programs staying up to date on industry best practices
Assists in both the production of and Marketing training presentation during scheduled CLUB4 University events
Partners with cross-functional teams to evaluate ongoing programs to ensure they reflect any business changes, are up to date and to gather content
Promotes a CLUB4 culture of continuous quality improvement and accountability
Assist in planning, managing, selecting and purchasing goods and merchandise
- Assist with other duties, as assigned.
The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Marketing Director but will act as a resource and liaison between mid-level/senior managers and appropriate business associates and vendors.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:1) Knowledge, skills & abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
- Experience within marketing, brand management, retail and/or similar background preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in events or local connectivity marketing.
- Being ingrained in the fitness community culture and able to embody the CLUB4 values and Brand.
- Experience with social channels, trends, and copywriting.
- Ability to act as a leader, work well independently and remotely from team leader and peers.
- Demonstrated ability to connect with and empower others:
o Gritty, innovative, reliable, influential, tenacious, and possess a high EQ (understands how to read and respond to social cues)
o Ability to be a self-starter as well as to work in both a team environment and on an independent basis

o Willingness to travel up to 30% to domestic/local clubs, key openings and events
2) Minimum certifications/educational level:
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
- Experience within marketing, brand management, retail and/or similar background preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in events or local connectivity marketing.
- Experience within corporate or personal wellness or gym/fitness or other hospitality industry, a plus
