Job Description
As a key member of Phoenix Children’s Marketing team, the Sr Service Line Marketing Manager plays an integral role in marketing Phoenix Children’s physicians and other providers, medical specialties, facilities and other offerings to acquire new patients, retain existing ones, enhance loyalty and build the brand. Reporting to the Director of Consumer Strategies, this individual plays a key role in contributing to a consumer-focused, evidence-based marketing approach that is being shaped at Phoenix Children’s. This professional develops and executes strategic marketing plans, ad campaigns and other marketing initiatives to increase revenue and profitability, while increasing brand awareness, perception, engagement and loyalty to the organization.
Position Duties
Annual Marketing & Communications
- PlanningI.Develops and executes the annual service line strategic marketing plan(s), with distinct focus on patient acquisition and retention, utilizing financial, operational and market share data and analytics to prioritize efforts and to develop goals, strategies and KPIs.
- Manages all service line digital content (including online physician bios) and social media content, including blogs.
- Develops all communications to referring/potential referring physicians to educate and/or generate new patient acquisition and patient retention.
- Oversees mystery shopping initiatives of their respective service line(s), as well as the reporting of results and follow-up strategies to enhance the consumer experience.
- Serves as Marketing’s point of contact for non-COE key service line(s) and a minimum of 4 other medical programs and services.
Ad Campaigns & Other Key Marketing Initiatives
- Serves as the point of contact for the respective service line(s) operational and physician leadership. This individual manages the development and execution of all service line ad campaigns and other key marketing initiatives with paid media.
- Oversees operational readiness before the launch of any ad/marketing campaign to ensure a seamless patient journey. Must be able to pivot due to changes in access or quality, or a significant increase/decrease in volumes.
- Takes a metrics-driven approach to developing and executing marketing strategies with an eye for creativity.
- Working under the direction of the Director of Consumer Strategies, this professional continually analyzes and monitors industry and service line trends.
Digital Marketing
- Monitors SEM results reports, participating actively in digital agency calls to flag opportunities or concerns, and make adjustments accordingly.
Budget & Monitoring
- Develops and manages service line marketing budget.
- Is responsible for tracking and measuring all campaigns/activities; provides quarterly reports to service line operational leaders, physicians and other key stakeholders.
Service Line Patient and Physician Communications
- Supervises the Consumer Strategies Specialist in developing and executing:
- Patient communications on program openings/closures, quality issues, new/departing physicians, etc.- Communications to referring/potential referring physicians to educate and/or generate new patient acquisition and patient retention.- Patient education materials for that service line.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or closely related field
Experience
- Ten (10) or more years experience in the field of marketing, advertising, communications or public relations capacity.
- Proven experience in tracking, analyzing and reporting advertising campaign performance.
- Proven experience developing integrated marketing plans and campaigns, both traditional and non-traditional marketing.
- Experience in the field of digital marketing.
