Tri-Eagle Sales (TES) has been the leading beverage wholesaler in the North- and Central-Florida area since 1996. We have over 250 knowledgeable beverage professionals that service 2,000+ retail customers from our two distribution facilities located in Tallahassee, FL and Ocala, FL.
We are looking for an organized and motivated Marketing Manager to join our team. As a Marketing Manager, you will be coordinating several different marketing duties including special event planning, public relations, corporate communications, and social media content management. This Marketing Manager position is a critical role with promoting TES and the different beverage companies that we distribute. We are specifically looking for someone who:
Is extremely organized and detail-oriented
Enjoys doing the heavy-lifting with different marketing tasks (not just delegating)
Prefers engaging in multiple marketing roles instead specializing in just one aspect of marketing
Is friendly and personable
Loves working as a team player and collaborating with others

Essential Tasks for the Marketing Manager:
Note that some activities like special event planning are seasonal, so the percent of time you spend on a given marketing task will definitely fluctuate month-to-month.
General Marketing (40%):
Assisting in the development and execution of TES's annual Marketing Plan alongside outside agencies and senior management. Marketing Plan elements include:
Brand Programming and Retail Execution Calendars
Strategies for key consumer demographics
TES Annual Event Plan
Social media & website marketing
Special marketing programs and events that engage consumer participation
Media planning and purchasing across territory on all mediums
Value-added promotions with local radio stations, outdoor, television, and print
Managing content on the TES website and all social media platforms in order to build brand awareness and communicate events and promotional activities
Public Relations (20%):
Working with outside agencies as necessary to communicate news and information via press release distribution
Coordinating TES's Corporate Social Responsibility program execution in Ocala, Gainesville, and Tallahassee markets
Driving responsible consumption programs at local colleges including Florida State University and University of Florida
Representing TES at community events
Corporate Communication (20%):
Conveying the organization's internal and external messages, utilize written materials and prepared presentations to communicate with employees
Maintaining the Tri-Eagle Sales website
Assisting as needed with special projects including newsletters and employee surveys completed by the HR department
Special Event Planning and Execution (10%):
Coordinating advertising and sponsorship of community partnership events from TES Annual Marketing Plan
Planning and managing all major event sponsorship requests across the territory, ensuring TES and our brands are represented accordingly within the company and legal guidelines
Working with and leading the Marketing Specialist on execution of Tallahassee special events throughout the year
Management and Leadership (10%):
Recruiting, hiring, and training Brand Ambassadors
Coordinating and executing internal company events and special projects
Actively participating in the development of the annual business plan and it's execution
Requirements
This job might be for you if you:
Have at least 5+ years of related marketing experience
Have at least 2+ years of event planning experience
Have at least 1+ years of management experience
Have earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Hospitality, Business, Sales, or other related fields
Have the flexibility to work standard office hours M-F, but can also attend special events that may occur on weekends or after-hours (note that we provide flexible comp-time when this happens)
Live in the Tallahassee, FL area or are willing to relocate
Are OK with traveling to Ocala, FL and other parts of Florida for special events (approximately 20% travel)
Have a current Florida Driver's License
Are computer-savvy and have a high proficiency with using the Microsoft Office suite of products
Have strong communication skills (verbal and written) and can follow corporate branding guides
Can lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally (required for special events with beverage products)
Can pass a criminal background check and a drug test (TES is a drug-free workplace)
