We are looking for a talented Junior Staff Accountant who is responsible for performing various accounting functions including A/R, A/P, and G/L functions to support the accounting team.
Main Responsibilities:
A/R, A/P and G/L related responsibilities
Assists with account and financial analysis, reconciliations and adhoc reporting
Assists monthly close process by reviewing general ledger accounts, performing account reconciliations and preparing and adjusting journal entries
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Entry level position with room for advancement and growth
Qualifications:
Accounting degree, substantial progress toward completion or equivalent experience
Experience with ERP systems preferable
Proficiency in Excel a must
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Good organizational skills
Strong customer orientation (internal and external)
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Must be able to effectively work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
Position is located in a mixed office and manufacturing environment, and may involve physical activity such as bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and sitting for long periods of time.
