Associate Brand Manager
About the Company:
Freelance Formulations is a full-service platform providing custom product development services to Health and Beauty brands and business owners whose goal is to add a product line to their business. Founded in 2016, Freelance Formulations provides formulation services, testing services, manufacturing support, label/packaging design services, ROI forecasting and other support services required for the launch of a product.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Marketing Associate Brand Manager to oversee the operations, processes, customer service & marketing. The Associate Brand Manager uses optimized strategies to drive customer excitement and always provides a thorough follow through to ensure goals are met. As an Associate Brand Manager your work typically focuses on creating experiences digitally, within the industry and in the community that builds awareness, trial and retention of the consumer. We expect the Associate Brand Manager to cater the campaign specifically to their target audience and demographic for increased profits of the company. The Brand Manager will be at the forefront of the sales funnel, and provide ongoing support to the customer throughout the product development stages. The Brand Manager will attend tradeshows on behalf of the company, managing the tradeshow experience as well as customer inquiries.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Handle incoming customer service inquiries and interest; as well as managing the customer journey through the sales funnel
Develop marketing opportunities for social, industry, and community
Create calendar and budget for opportunities
Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
Shape and communicate our vision and mission
Measure and report performance of staff KPIs
Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
Devise innovative growth strategies
Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
Oversee design contractors and freelancers (ie: Social media graphics for Facebook cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, etc.).
Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
Requirements:
Proven working experience as brand manager or associate brand manager
Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix (social media, digital, retail, community) & data driven thinking
Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
Self-starter must be motivated and able to act without a lot of direction
Outstanding communication skills
Experience with start-ups
Experience or Degree in marketing or a related field
Experience with manufacturing/sales

- Onsite in our Bartow office
- Some travel required (Attending Tradeshows)
Compensation:
- $14.00-16.00 p/ hour
- Commission available after 90 days of employment
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday (7AM – 5PM) 40 hours per week
