Job Description
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Evaluation criteria based on these responsibilities listed on review forms)
Marketing Strategy: 85%
Conceptualize and implement marketing calendar and strategies. Platforms include but are not limited to, social media, email campaigns, and the overall communication efforts of NPHX Church
Oversee execution of calendar, ensuring campaigns are executed across our website, digital media, and Sunday Service announcements
Collaborate with the Creative Director and Communications team to bring concepts and campaigns to life. Overseeing the Church’s branding and positioning in the community and around the world
Develop best-in-class email and SMS strategy to improve church member engagement and further develop pathways for new and existing members to get connected with small groups, bible studies, and various church events
Review the analytics to evaluate the performance of campaigns and inform upcoming initiatives
Work with our team on developing “brand voice”, key initiatives/programs, and events
Research top marketing strategies, with a focus on staying ahead of emerging marketing trends
Measure and report on key projects and marketing campaign performance and vital engagement
Act as the brand champion to ensure the delivery of a compelling and consistent brand narrative across all communications channels
Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Duties: 15%
Oversee Graphic Designer and Internal Communications Specialist
Task Graphic Designer in the creation of elements, both digital and print, to support all marketing efforts and strategies
Task Internal Communications Specialist in all efforts relating to the internal communication work-flow of our church, assisting with marketing strategies, and deployment of those strategies
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION (SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & EDUCATION)
A seasoned marketer with a minimum of 7 years of marketing experience in brand marketing
5 years of experience in project management, organization, and coordination related to marketing
A contagious and healthy Christian walk
Member of NPHX Church
Outstanding writing, editing, copywriting and communication skills
A desire to explore creative ideas and unconventional approaches to reaching our community
Ability to self-motivate and motivate others to find innovative solutions under tight deadlines
strong digital aptitude with extensive experience and confident vision around bringing a modern, faith-based brand to life across digital and social media channels
Excellent attention to detail and calm under pressure with the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven, complex, demanding, fast-paced environment
