The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Liberty Mutual Global Cybersecurity (GCS) is actively searching for a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist who is passionate about Identity and Access Management (IAM). As a Senior level contributor on the team, you will have the opportunity to help us enhance our IAM program through governance, business process improvements and ensuring top-notch security, while providing an excellent customer experience and driving innovative solutions.
The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in security, risk and compliance concepts, processes and able to execute existing patterns. They should possess a thorough knowledge of new and emerging technologies, and be well-versed in IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, as well as security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols. Strong negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills; strong oral and written communication skills; able to present to senior contributors and management are also required for this senior-level position. Lastly, the ideal candidate will have advanced consulting skills with the ability to fully understand and assist in applying customer requirements in any implemented security-driven solution.
Desired Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, and their application to support business processes.
Comprehensive knowledge of Agile methodologies, project management, and IT standards and guidelines.
Experience with IAM / Modern Authentication / Public Cloud tooling (e.g., MFA, Security Token, OAUTH, LDAP, Active Directory, DFS, Azure, AWS, and SailPoint IIQ, NTFS is required)
Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Unix)
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to deliver in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.
Strong collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills are required
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SailPoint, Jira, and Remedy)
Provides production support and participates in weekly on-call rotation

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience
Proficient in oral/written communications, and presentation skills
Strong negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills
Excellent customer service skills

Self-motivated/self-starter
