Job Description
Description:
The Engineer will be responsible to perform as a system administrator on the FAA system for account creation, password management, helpdesk troubleshooting, security reviews and quality control of training modules. Additionally, candidate must be able to investigate Cyber Operational tickets for impact and remediation status and assist in system software upgrades.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a Position of Public Trust.
The position currently follows a hybrid schedule and will be required to report to the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) at least 2 days per week or more as required.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Education: Candidate should hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
Skills, Abilities & Certifications:
Knowledge of system architecture, lab and system assets
Understanding of the Linux operating system
Able to perform Unix System Administration
Experience with MS Windows Active Directory and MS Windows System Administration
Help desk personable skills
