We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to provide quality care in our medical facility. You will be responsible for front-desk functions, such as greeting patients and answering phones, as well as clinical duties, like dressing wounds and taking vital signs. You need to be highly organized and proficient at prioritizing tasks. We will rely on you to maintain a comfortable environment for your patients. Ultimately, you should be able to help our medical team deliver high-quality patient care to the community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the examination of patients and record findings in medical records.
- Offer support to the doctors and nurses by preparing work sites, instruments and equipment.
- Prepare patients for examinations by setting up examination tables.
- Prepare required medical instruments and equipment, such as thermometers, blood pressure cuffs, sphygmomanometers, tongue depressors etc.
- Communicate with patients and other healthcare providers in an effective manner.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, instruments, equipment etc.
- Perform clerical duties like maintaining the medical record files and filing papers.
- Answer telephone calls and give basic information about the company to callers.
- Answer patient's questions regarding appointments, treatment plans etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
