Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
Works on line #1 or #6 when the machine is configured to run only filler flats (5 x 6 egg trays), Chick Feeders, Shake Trays or Cafeteria Trays. Maintains excellent safety and housekeeping standards, verifies quality, and wraps product. Completes paperwork to include bundle tags, skid tickets, and production reporting.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all documented procedures for the position to include JSAs.
Attend to oven jams immediately to prevent product backups and fires.
Gather product from the run-out stacker, check for quality, and feed into wrapper.
Stack bundles on skid according to established procedures to prevent movement when handled by forklift.
Ensure excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
Be present for machine startups to watch for fire.
Empty trash cans as required.
Clean underneath oven screens and run-out stackers when machine is down.
Immediately address grease or oil on the floor.
Maintains solid communication with other operators and plant supervision.
Informs NTL or Team Leader of any problems in the area.
Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensures excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
Maintain safety record to conform to plant goals.
Maintain attendance record to confirm to plant attendance goals
Ensures a smooth transition at shift change.
Immediately addresses safety issues or hazards.
Follows established break schedule.
Works overtime as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Candidate Requirements:
Must be physically able to perform the essential job duties: Stand approximately 10 hours per shift, lift 26 - 36 pounds on a frequent basis, and work in a hot/cold environment.
Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour schedule.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays and overtime.
Experience:
Preferred:
90 days of experience as a Stacker.
Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities requiring control of a mechanical process and inspection of product to meet quality standards.
Skills:
Ability to work in a self-directed position.
Ability to work safely and to communicate with others in a professional manner.
Demonstrated ability sufficient to determine product quality, for example, carton malformations, color verification, and structural integrity.
Demonstrated hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient for product handling.
Ability to work in an industrial environment with rotating shifts.

The Macon plant was built in 1967. It manufactures egg cartons, lunch trays, and shake trays. The Macon plant has approximately 218 employees. Macon was awarded World-Class Safety in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. Macon also received the Operational Performance Plant of the year in 2015 and 2016 and Food Plant of the Year in 2016. The Macon plant has recently reached out to the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank and will be collecting canned and dried goods for the less fortunate.
