ONLINE MEDICAL ASSISTANT – INSTRUCTOR – PART TIME
Medical Assistant Instructors help take care of students through their lifecycle with Ross!
Medical Assistant Instructor duties include:
We are looking for experienced online instructors for hybrid and full online students in our Medical Assistant programs.
Working with students on achieving a certificate/diploma and/or Associate Degree.
Use Ross curriculum, supplemented with your own work/life experiences and medical knowledge.
You will have regular communication and interaction with your students through your comments and discussions.
This is an active and supportive online environment for students, so you will need to allow enough time each week to communicate promptly with students and other staff.
Training and "ramp up" hours are provided.
We are also looking for day and evening on campus instructors as well.
Requirements
Prior teaching experience teaching online using a contemporary LMS or as an online student using Canvas
3+ years’ recent experience in the medical field in which you will be teaching and formal training from an accredited institution. Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant. Individuals without a formal education, must have with a minimum of 5+ years’ recent experience working in the medical field in which you will be teaching and a national certification. Additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on the state, program, and accreditation requirements. No prior teaching experience required.
Must supply own equipment and have reliable high speed internet access
Must live/work in a state where Ross already does business or has employees (MI, OH, IN, KY, TN, WV, IA, NM, FL, GA, AZ, AL)
Strongly Preferred: Ross Graduate or former Ross Instructor
