Job Description
Assist provider with day-to-day duties in relation to patient care, including but not limited to:
-Work up patients for assigned provider
-Perform any lab duties including UA, Hgb, needle sticks for laboratory studies, Drug screens, hemoccult card testing, injections, and finger stick blood sugar testing.
-Take X-rays
-Answer messages
-Perform any duties asked of you by assigned provider in relation to patient care
-Cleaning lab
-Restocking treatment rooms
-Restocking laboratory
-Putting up stock as it arrives from the suppliers
-Complete assigned tasks (i.e. laundry, supply ordering, cleaning)
-Other duties to be assigned as needed
Schedule is 07:30am to approximately 5:00pm Monday-Friday (1 hour for lunch). Occasional rotations of Saturday 8:30-12 (about once per month) with the following Friday off. (Hours listed may vary and are subject to change). THIS IS A 4 DAY PER WEEK POSITION. One year medical office CMA experience REQUIRED.
