Human Resources Manager

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations and activities of the Human Resources department within the scope of policies established and the authority delegated by the Executive Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Recommends and maintains staffing levels with input of appropriate management and staff.
Leads employee relations processes with a strong focus and action on positive employee relations. Counsels/coaches employees and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitates formal/informal complaints to resolution, discipline and/or terminations consistent with local culture, business and legal environments.
Monitors compensation trends and interacts with corporate resources to ensure competitiveness in the company’s efforts to attract and retain the talent necessary to successfully operate the business.
Prepares and directs the preparation of Human Resource management reports.
Develops, implements and maintains an effective hiring system, including an employee orientation for new hires.
Ensures personnel files are maintained in accordance with employee confidentiality and all appropriate rules, regulations, and laws.
Assists in communications benefits information by answering employee questions and establishing liaison with the company's carriers.
Oversees all payroll information and changes for employees.
Oversees administration of various benefit programs including updating insurance rosters, 40l(k) plans, COBRA, etc.
Assists in the training and periodic updates of OSHA and safety standards. Updates procedures and enforces OSHA guidelines in all practice offices.
Coordinates, implements, and maintains an effective organizational development program.
Develops and implements effective training and development programs.
Manages the Worker's Compensation program within the organization including providing appropriate reports.
