Job Description
Job Summary
This position is responsible for interfacing with established & new customers to handle a variety of pre-sales or post sales functions and for assisting the General Manager with operations function(s) at a branch.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with managing and coordinating operational activity for the branch.
Perform pick up and deliveries, coordinate pick up and deliveries, route driver duties if needed, assist with supervising P&D drivers, route drivers and yard personnel at the location.
Assist with managing operational activities, i.e., service levels, routing efficiency, labor and overtime, fuel, etc.
Perform job walks, site checks, and make daily calls.
Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion. Act as liaison between customers and office personnel to resolve general inquiries and issues.
Assist the General Manager implementing standard practices, efficiency recommendation, etc.
Notify General Manager of employee time off requests and assist with scheduling time off based on operational necessity.
Work with General Manager to coordinate and perform safety training, when necessary.
Assist with creating and maintaining a positive, safe, and effective work environment and perform weekly safety walks.
Report immediately and directly to General Manager, any known safety issues, truck issues, employees not reporting to work or leaving early, non-completed routes, break downs, winch outs, towing, auto accidents, accident/injuries to person, etc.
Special/other projects as assigned by management.

High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 1-year related experience.
Combination of education and experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Salary: $50.000 - $ 68.000
