Job Description
A thriving, independent, oncology practice seeking an experienced certified medical assistant to provide phlebotomy coverage and serve as a primary assistant to our nurse practitioners, to room patients, to do phone triage and more. This is a position for someone that likes the varied aspects of a healthcare clinic and enjoys being a contributing member of a highly skilled team. Training provided for all clinical skills is available but a desire to learn and the ability to problem solve independently a must! Experience desired. Knowledge of Epic a plus (but not required).
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must be able to accurately take patient vitals.
- Must be able to communicate patient concerns to providers.
- Must have the ability to plan, organize, and work independently; exhibit problem-solving skills.
- Able to develop professional rapport with employees at all levels of the company.
- Must be able to perform CPR when necessary. (Training available.)
- Practices OSHA safety standards and complies with HIPAA at all times.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
- High School diploma or GED and a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
