Job Description
KC Jones is looking for Customer Support in our Quality department. We are located in Hazel Park, MI. Only candidates who complete the two assessments and answer the questions will be considered.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM-4PM
PROFICIENT WITH COMPUTER INCLUDING MICROSOFT OFFICE APPLICATIONS – EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK
MUST BE WILLING AND ABLE TO SUPPORT PHYSICAL QUALITY FUNCTIONS SUCH AS HANDS-ON SORTING PRODUCTS AND IN THE SHIPPING AND RECEIVING DEPARTMENT WHEN NEEDED
Job Description
Receives customer calls and e-mails and directs questions and needs accordingly. Must be able to communicate clearly with customers. Works well with others and communicates effectively with coworkers and management.
Organizes and documents nonconforming product for disposition.
Inputs reject quantity and type for KPI tracking and Cost of Quality
Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis.
Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.
Records test data, uses SPC when required.
Conducts in-process audits of the manufacturing processes to assure quality requirements are met.
Completes testing as needed for orders processed.
Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
Assists in containment and corrective actions for quality related problems such as sorting or auditing.
Maintains Hold Area by obtaining disposition of nonconforming material and updating log.
Assists QA department with audit preparations.
Can perform all Essential Duties of a Quality Auditor.
Assists Shipping and Receiving department with customer needs.
Qualifications
Basic computer skills and typing skills, working with multiple applications
Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change
Attention to detail and good communication skills
Proficient computer data entry skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
