Compensation Package Includes:
Non-negotiable starting salary pay of $18.25/hr.
An annual bonus based on individual and enterprise performance
Annual merit increases
This position has an anticipated start date of Monday, July 24, 2023.
This position is open to candidates who live within 100 miles of Dunwoody, GA and in the state of GA.
Hybrid Work Arrangement: "Hybrid" means selected candidates will be assigned to a facility and will spend some time working both in office and from their home.
Hybrid office location: Dunwoody, GA – Park Center
Work Schedule:Our team works in a shift environment between the hours of 7:00 am – 7:30 pm Monday-Friday and may include holidays based on workload and job requirements. Schedules may change based on business need and will require flexibility. Full-time work schedules are 38 hours and 45 minutes per week.
Incumbency: Professional development is one of our priorities at State Farm, including internal job movement. New employees are eligible to consider promotional opportunities after 12 months of service or lateral opportunities after 24 months of service.
Responsibilities:
This position is for Underwriting Service Assistant (USA) Production.
As a USA your primary responsibility will be processing applications and policy transactions electronically for new and existing business in a production driven and fast paced environment.
Our USAs work in a production environment, which is a non-phone job where the USA is evaluated on the amount of transactions you can produce and the quality of those transactions. USAs demonstrate the following skills in their day-to-day work:
Ability to follow standard work processes:
Review and process application and/or policy changes according to established guidelines.
Perform premium breakdowns, electronically and/or manually calculate rates based on selected coverages.
Prepare/type a variey of reports, endorsements, filings, form letters and cancellation letters.
Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and detective type research work is required.
Focused and Resourceful:
Knows where to find answers and serves as a technical and procedural resource.
Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to produce quality work.
Accountable to your team, your work, and your schedule.
Engaged with customers to identify and address adverse situations:
Guide customers through navigating existing resources such as Rate Manuals, Underwriting Guidelines, Auto Answers, etc.
Communicates clearly, professionally, and empathetically both verbal and written:
Ability to provide remarkable customer service in all interactions with agents and associates.
Ability to handle multiple computer applications in a fast-paced collaborative team environment:
Experience with Microsoft Office software.
