General Manager – Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa
Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa, Young Harris, Georgia, is looking for an extraordinary General Manager! Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa has 102 lodge rooms and 32 cottage rooms and is nestled among the North Georgia Mountains, Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa redefines the typical mountain getaway. Just two short hours from Metro Atlanta & Chattanooga, Tennessee, Brasstown Valley Resort combines the beauty and natural splendor of idyllic Blue Ridge Mountain rentals with the stylish accommodations and stellar amenities of a mountain golf resort and spa. We are managed by the Southeast's premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality.
Job Overview:
The General Manager will oversee all day-to-day operations of the resort, as well as have overall P&L responsibility. This role also has regional oversite of two General Managers based at other sites located within an hour's drive. Great opportunity for take-charge individual with strong hospitality standards and operations background.

Job Requirements:
Proven success in position of GM, preferably in resort environment.
Extensive Rooms Division background to include Yield Management, Front Office, Reservations and Housekeeping
Proven experience in Operations and Sales & Marketing
Working knowledge of Food & Beverage operations
Working knowledge of the operations with a state-run Park, preferred
Effective ability to supervise, motivate and mentor team members to maintain optimal department operation and staff development
Analytical approach to problem solving
Ability to work, communicate and maintain positive owner relations
Strong computer and spreadsheet skills
Experience:
10+ years as General Manager
15+ years hotel experience with focus on Rooms and working knowledge of Food and Beverage, Operations and Sales & Marketing
Regional or multi-site responsibilities preferred
Software including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite, PMS, POS required
Data Analytics experience desired
Effective written and verbal communication skills exercising patience, tact and diplomacy required
Salary and Benefits:
Compensation package commensurate with experience. $150,000 to $170,000
Uncapped bonus potential based upon achieving financial and guest service results
