Job Description
Position: Data Entry Specialist I/Reporting Specialist
Job Summary
- Reviews and analyzes reports for entry into the computer system
General Accountabilities
- Prepares and sorts source documents, and interprets data to be entered.
- Able to analyze reports to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
- Enters alphabetic and numeric from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen, and enters necessary codes.
- Compares data entered with source documents, or re-enters data in verification format on screen to detect errors.
- Makes necessary corrections to information entered.
- Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
- Review reports for accuracy.
- Excellent grammar and communication skills.
- Organized and able to maintain multiple spreadsheets.
- Attention to detail.
Job Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1-2 years of data entry experience preferred
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Problem solving
- Active listening
- Proficient with MS Excel.
