Job Description
Budgets/Contracts Analyst (Sepulveda Finance)
This position is fully remote, and you have the option to elect into a 9/80 flex work schedule. The pay range for this role is between $32.13 - $35.69 per hour.
Summary
Responsible for participating in the preparation and oversight of budgets and funding contracts, ensuring compliance with funding source requirements.
Primary Duties
Assists in the development and maintenance of financial schedules that monitor revenues and expenditures for all programs.
Participates in the development of budgets to accompany requests for proposals, grants, contracts and amendments.
Manages the financial oversight of specific, assigned contracts; communicates with the funder to provide and receive information and resolve accounting/funding problems.
Acts as secondary contact for management personnel regarding contract and grant information.
Collaborates with Contracts and Grants Manager to develop, establish and monitor contract and grant controls.
Establishes and maintains files and supporting documentation in accordance with Agency and contract and grant requirements; retrieves and provides documents and files for audit purposes.
Provides diverse, complex and confidential administrative and clerical support to relieve and assist the Contracts and Grants Manager.
Develops and maintains contract and grant management and related financial skills through seminars, workshops, or other forms of training/education related to accounting.
Attends and participates in staff meetings and other Agency meetings.
Position Requirements
Experience with government contract requirements and reimbursement methods
Experience with non-government contract and grant requirements
Experience in contract financial analysis
A working knowledge of accounting principles
Excellent computer skills, including preparation of complex spreadsheets highly desired.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to people at all levels of the organization.
Outstanding ability to develop, document and implement systems that promote efficiency and accountability.
Ability to adapt to changing needs by acquiring new skills and knowledge
