Job Description
$2,000.00 Sign on Bonus. Paid @ $500.00 every 3, 6, 9, 12 months.
Legacy Medical Care (LMC) is looking for an Pediatrics Medical Assistant to join our team. LMC is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center Look-a-Like who serves the underserved communities. Our team is committed to improving access to care by responding to ever changing health care needs through health education and prevention programs. LMC is a multi-specialty medical office with multiple office locations in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago.
As a Medical Assistant you will support the providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care and clerical tasks. This includes but not limited to the following:
- Taking patient vital signs
- Rooming the patients
- Assisting the provider in the exam rooms
- Answering and making telephone calls
- Updating and entering information in the medical records system
- Filling out medical paper forms
- Scheduling appointments
- Other duties as assigned
It is required to have a medical assistant certification, medical assistant diploma and/or experience in the medical office. New grads are always welcomed!
Our training is a 30-day period and there is always resources such as manager on site, manager on-call and resources for you to review an assure you are confident in doing all your duties that you are assigned. Come learn and grow with our team!

We work as a team and we require all of our staff to travel to all of our office locations. You will have a home office and a set schedule, but traveling will be required when coverage is needed.
