Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Studio Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our film/TV studio. As a Studio Manager, you will be responsible for managing bookings, maintaining an up-to-date calendar, serving as a point of contact for clients, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the studio.
Responsibilities:
1. Studio Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the film/TV studio, ensuring smooth functioning of equipment, facilities, and resources.
Manage the studio schedule and bookings, coordinating with clients, production teams, and crew members to ensure efficient use of studio space and resources.
Maintain an updated calendar with all bookings, rehearsals, production shoots, and events, and communicate any changes or conflicts to relevant parties.
Monitor and maintain inventory of studio equipment, props, and supplies, coordinating repairs and replacements as needed.
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proper setup and functioning of lighting, sound, and video equipment for productions.
2. Client Relations:
Serve as the main point of contact between the studio and clients, addressing inquiries, providing information, and assisting with booking processes.
Communicate effectively with clients to gather requirements, understand project objectives, and ensure a seamless experience throughout their time in the studio.
Coordinate with clients to determine their technical and logistical needs, including equipment, set design, and production resources.
Provide guidance and recommendations to clients regarding available studio services, facilities, and additional resources.
3. Studio Maintenance and Organization:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized studio environment, ensuring all areas are kept tidy and presentable for clients and productions.
Regularly inspect and address any maintenance or repair needs in the studio, coordinating with maintenance staff or external contractors as necessary.
Develop and implement studio policies and procedures to promote efficiency, safety, and professionalism.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards within the studio space.
4. Administrative Tasks:
Handle administrative tasks related to studio operations, such as managing contracts, invoices, and payments for bookings and services.
Prepare and distribute studio usage agreements, contracts, and release forms to clients and production teams.
Maintain accurate records of studio usage, client information, and financial transactions.
Assist in budget management by tracking studio-related expenses and recommending cost-effective solutions.
Requirements:
Proven experience in studio management, preferably in the film/TV industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, production teams, and studio personnel.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and schedules.
Familiarity with studio equipment, including lighting, sound, and video systems, the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
Knowledge of industry-standard safety practices and regulations.
Proficiency in using scheduling and calendar management tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on production and client needs.
