Job Description
The Marketing Project Manager serves as the centralized “departmental hub” for key project management activities including project prioritization, process improvement, team member onboarding, and cross-team coordination of mega sales. Oversees post-mortem & hindsight reporting for large-scale campaigns. This job creates concepts & maps campaign smart lists and logic rules that drive targeting, segmentation, and lead scoring. They must also create and communicate training materials, offer details, and fulfillment instructions for Sales teams to understand marketing campaigns. This role manages all marketing migration activities, including client onboarding, off-boarding, customizations, and new brand/product implementation.
Responsibilities:
Works with assigned key partners/clients/vendors to help drive business and marketing strategies that are aligned with and meet company objectives.
Creates, implements, and manages campaigns including email streams, direct mail, marketing plans, and print collateral for multiple brands and partners.
Develops and manages email streams and lead nurturing strategies including email segmentation, A/B testing, and optimization.
Performs ongoing quality control and asset proofing procedures to ensure assets are correct, links are working, content is proofed, and materials adhere to brand standards.
Builds, tests, and maintains email data, smart lists, and email cadence flows in the email management system.
Analyzes and publishes A/B test results, metrics, and data through weekly reporting, tracking, and analysis and provides feedback to the executive management team as well as optimizes efforts for success.
Builds, executes, and analyzes marketing plans and programs. This includes the interpretation of yield data to prioritize promotional resources and messaging.
Builds greater degrees of segmentation and personalization that enhance programs and help us achieve specific goals.
Works with development & product resources to troubleshoot issues or consumer escalations rooted from marketing campaigns.
Liaisons with the Sales and Product teams on-call volumes, drop scheduling, new program developments, and campaign implementation.
Organizes promotional campaigns and coordinates day-of deliveries and assets.
Creates and distributes Marketing campaigns and Training Guides cross-departmentally.
Ensures creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines.
Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
Requirements:
Minimum Education required: College Degree or equivalent.
3+ years of core strength marketing experience (digital, email, or project management preferred).
Minimum 2+ years managing team members.
Project Management certification preferred
Marketo experience preferred
Excellent internal and external communication abilities
Excellent project management skills
Execute strong time management skills and be deadline oriented
Excellent problem-solving & organizations skills
Must be self-sufficient and independent
Must be able to facilitate communication between stakeholders and departments
Able to manage production chains
Must be able to create timelines and budgets
Expert knowledge of marketing automation and email platforms
Able to drive both tactical and strategic marketing initiatives
