Job Description
STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Records Coordinators in Miramar, Florida.
Overview:
The Aircraft Records Coordinator II must be highly motivated as well as being able to hold a high level of effective communication with Sr. Manager of Aircraft Records, interacting daily with aircraft maintenance and other departments team members to ensure policies and guidelines are being followed per companies GMM.
Responsibilities:
Updating Airframe, Engines, APU’s and Landing gears components to ensure accuracy in SETS.
Ensuring effective coordination and communication with other departments such as AC Configuration Management, Receiving Inspectors and Engineering.
Performs the removal and installation of components as needed
Reviewing shop visits for APU’s, Engines and Landing Gears
Assist with manual update of times and cycles using last 8130
Provide monthly monitoring of life limited components for airframe, engines, APU’s and Landing gears
Comply with final review of shop work orders ensuring all write ups from technicians are in SETS (TRAX & FLYDOCS)
Maintain log of discrepancies and reporting data to CASS
Produce an accurate work scope to avoid unnecessary reproduction of tasks by other team members or leaders.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances change (e.g. Job or technical difficulties, emergencies of short staff etc.)
Qualifications and Requirements:
Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of aircraft records requirements and processes required
Familiar with General Maintenance Manuals, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and Air Transport Association (ATA) Coding.
Communicate effectively in written and verbal form to various levels of the organization
Responsible for the successful reviewing, processing and maintaining aircraft records resulting from preventative maintenance, inspection, repair or overhaul of the aircraft and the associated components
Professionally represent the company to internal and external entities
Proficiency in math is required
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
1-3 years of recent Powerplant Aircraft Records experience
TRAX experience preferred
Ability to red and analyze documents including task cards and engineering documents to perform technical audit
Data entry experience
Some travel may be required (under 10% if any)
Exert up to 25lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demands are in excess of those of sedentary work. Light work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
