Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Receive, investigate, and respond to all customer inquiries regarding shipments, products, and complaints. Build and maintain a positive line of communication with customers to ensure a long-term company-customer relationship.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Answer all customer phone calls and emails promptly. Acknowledge receipt of all faxes.
2. Speak with customers concerning orders, pricing information, returns, shipments, and products; must address customer issues to ensure effective and long-term customer relationships
3. Enter customer order data into computer & print shipping documents.
4. Make changes to or cancel orders/backorders
5. Confer with production, sales and shipping to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
6. Prepare shipped orders for invoicing.
7. Enter customer returns into computer & print return (RMA) documents. Processes RMA once returned.
8. Research and process credit/debits.
9. Create and maintain customer price lists.
10. Create and maintain customer profiles
11. Initiate orders for replacement parts and/or for correcting errors.
12. Complete Customer Non-Conformance forms and route to proper personnel.
13. Follow up with customer on corrective actions.
14. Handle irate customers in a professional manner
15. General filing.
JOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1. High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
PRACTICAL and PHYSICAL SKILLS
1. Ability to sit for extended periods of time
2. Ability to extensively use hands and fingers
3. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
MATHEMATICAL, LANGUAGE and COMMUNICATION SKILLS
1. Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide
2. Must possess excellent grammar, diction, and articulation
3. Must possess excellent customer service skills
4. Ability to operate a computer and ability to learn multiple computer programs and tools
5. Ability to analyze and interpret multiple technical documents
6. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels both inside and outside of the organization
7. Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
8. Ability to deal with problems involving both concrete and non-concrete variables
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
