Job Description
Staff Management | SMX has IMMEDIATE openings for Light Machine Operators in Slater, MO! Associates in this position help make a difference for the environment while working in a climate-controlled facility. 1st and 2nd shift opportunities are available. Current shift times are 5:30am to 3:00pm Mon-Fri for 1st and 3:00pm to 1:30am Mon-Thur & alternating Fridays for second. All new associates are eligible to receive a $500 Sign-On Bonus.

Shifts: 2nd Shift, 1st Shift.
Employment Types: Full Time, Temp to Hire, Temporary or Contract.
Pay Rate: $15.00 - $16.00 / hour
Duties:
Assemble perforated and cylinder filters for a wide range of applications from power plants and hazard waste disposal to welding hoods and other factories. Basic functions include assembly, quality inspection, sorting, receiving, machine operators, and packaging.

Position Requirements:
This position also has the following requirements and responsibilities:
Lift 40-50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, move about for shift duration (8-12 hours)
Detail Orientated
Manual dexterity
Normal or corrected vision to read directions and visually inspect parts; and to distinguish colors
Ability to reach, bend, and stoop for objects
Perform repetitive movement with arms and hands
Must be able to read precise measurements down to 1/16th of an inch

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $15.00 - $16.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
