What You Will Do:
In this role, you will perform clerical and physical tasks in connection with preparing and handling outbound and inbound shipments of hard copy documents scheduled for digitization, securely, accurately and timely to ensure production operation and timelines meet customer expectations and contractual obligations. Essential functions include documenting and retaining records of product shipped and received, tracking inventory, entering data to create log of transferring documents, removing and packing folder files according to established methodology and customer approval, verifying received shipments reconcile against bill of lading and manifest, and validating documents are returned to original storage location. Requires prompt and effectual communication with management to report shipping/receiving delays, staff shortages, damaged shipments, questionable file order and discrepancies, and facility/customer issues and concerns.
General and Physical Requirements:
Perform basic computer skills; experience working with spreadsheets/Microsoft Excel.
Proficient at typing, reading, alphabetization and keyboard skills.
Stamina to move and lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively; pack/unpack, palletize load/unload palletized boxes from trucks.
Adeptness to operate manual pallet truck or other assistive equipment to push/pull and transport boxes of documents.
Ability to follow government security requirements in order to keep file contents safe and to ensure no Personal Data is compromised.
Performance and Additional Requirements:
Understand and strictly adhere to applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
Effectively collaborate and communicate with management and team members.
Organized, attention to fine detail, and skilled at time-management.
Maintain an organized, clean, safe and secure work environment.
Maintain sufficient inventory of material shipping supplies.
Ability to interface with customer and adhere to company dress code.
Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Possess written, oral and interpersonal communications skills.
Abide by all company and on-site facility health and safety regulations.
What You Will Need:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum two (2) years of work experience, preferably in data entry and/or material handling.
Other Requirements:
Obtain/retain a government public trust security level clearance (includes a credit check).
Must be a U.S. citizen.
May be required to pass pre-employment drug screen, and/or as needed.
