Job Description
Performs routine, technical clinical/clerical duties and assist with other related duties involved in providing patient care. Demonstrates ethical and appropriate clinical behavior for the clinic environment to include (but no be limited to) respect for the patient; dignity; rights; age and other specific care needs; and maintenance of confidentiality of information. Work performed under the administrative supervision of a licensed physician. First point of contact for all patients, other doctors and those with whom we have other business or professional relationships. Assumes responsibility for patient check-in process; also, telephone attendant relaying in coming and outgoing calls.
High school diploma or equivalent work experience in a physician’s office
Minimum one year clinic experience or educational equivalent.
Medical Assistants Certification (or equivalent “on the job training”) and BLS Certification
