Job Title: Digital Content Specialist
Department: Communications
Basic Function: Produce dynamic and engaging video and graphic-focused content for use across USA Hockey communication platforms
Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and produce compelling and visually appealing digital content for all USA Hockey communication channels, with a strong focus on video and graphic-based content
Contribute to USA Hockey social media efforts; produce and post content
Work with freelance content partners to help fill digital content needs
Publish content to USA Hockey communication properties
Assist in the overall organization and archival process of digital content assets
Support content efforts specific to U.S. national teams, including at tournaments/events
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree: 2-plus years of applicable full-time professional experience is preferred
Demonstrated experience in producing full video and graphic packages under deadline
Solid understanding and ability to work within the Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling
Demonstrated knowledge of hockey
Motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Experience in analyzing digital content analytics to create data-driven strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to travel, including internationally
Ability to positively engage with all USA Hockey constituent groups
Salary: $50,000 annually. This is a full-time position. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, vacation/sick time, and 403B matching after six months.
Availability: Position available immediately at USA Hockey’s national headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colo. This is not a remote position.
